Since 1936, The Ohio State Marching Band has been performing Script Ohio. For all but seven of these performances, the honor of “dotting the i” has been bestowed on a sousaphone player. The incomparable Script Ohio is one of the greatest traditions in all of college football.
On September 27, 2008, Tony Robertson, a senior from Houston, Texas, sealed his place in the legacy of the “i-dotter.” What follows is his preparation and celebration of performing one of Ohio State’s most recognized and renowned traditions.
