Sponsored by BHN Residential Complex | Come paint pottery, plant seeds, and make frames, all for that special woman in your life: "Ma!" We'll also be showing the Disney classic Dumbo.
The Event Place in the South Campus Gateway (07:00pm - 10:00pm) Mahogany Moments - Reflections on Beauty
Sponsored by the African American Heritage Festival | Mahogany Moments is a semi-formal dinner and dance in which attendants will have a formal dining experience along with a presentation on diverse perceptions of beauty. The cost is $10 for a single and $15 for a couple in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets will be available at the Frank W. Hale, Jr. Black Cultural Center and Multicultural Center.

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth is sponsoring Anupama Bhagwat, a world renowned sitar artist who used to live in close-by Dayton, OH. Anupama is coming to Hitchcock Hall Auditorium on Friday, May 1st to give a free sitar concert! Food and drinks will be provided for free!

Our theme this year is Transformation ~ What's Your Story? Record a brief story of a time when your relationship changed with your sibling in some notable way. We'll be featuring these stories as a podcast on our website: www.mcc.osu.edu. NOTE: If under 18 we need a permission slip signed by your parent/guardian at the Sibs Check-In.

Sponsored by the Sportsmanship Council | The Baseball team is taking on "that team up north" and Track hosts the Jesse Owens Track Classic, and they need our crazy Buckeye enthusiasm, energy and passion! Take the day to relax and hang with friends, your buckeye teams and other familiar OSU faces while enjoying music, food and games outside the RPAC. Then, take the complimentary shuttle running between the RPAC and Bill Davis Stadium and receive a free t-shirt when you get out to the athletic events! Sponsored by the Residence Halls Advisory Council | Crafts Extravaganza will be an intense but playful exploration of the infinite possibilities and many inventive interpretations of the common wooden picture frame. This will include but is not limited to, a mosaic picture frame created from the humble lowly beginnings of a chopped up paint swatch, chalkboard frames, white board frames, corkboard frames, and stencils gone a-wol. There will also be a build and paint your own wooden animals in the shapes of penguins, peacocks, swans, seahorses, and squirrels.

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth is sponsoring Anupama Bhagwat, a world renowned sitar artist who used to live in close-by Dayton, OH. Anupama will introduce students to Hindustani music. In addition, a Bharatanatyam dancer will have an interactive performance, and students will get to learn the basics of Carnatic music first-hand! The NPHC Step Show is an annual event designed to promote stronger community between the various Greek councils, as well as provide a diversity opportunity for much of the OSU community. The Step Show is an event which showcases stepping by the historically African American sororities and fraternity within the National Pan-Hellenic Council at the Ohio State University. Cost $15.00

Sponsored by the Student Alumni Council | The Laugh Olympics is a carnival-like event for students and their siblings to come have a good time. There will be facepainting, cornhole, sack races, water balloons, and much more. Free juice and donuts will be provided for those who arrive early. Come out and have fun with your sibling!
