Letter from the Director of the Parent Association

Dear Parents,

The years your student spends at The Ohio State University will likely be the most growth-filled and rewarding years of his or her life. As parents, you will share with your student the achievements, frustrations, and challenges that come with this experience.

You'll also need some support during your student's college years, and that is why the Parent Association exists. It is our mission to provide resources, information, and opportunities for parents to become partners with the university in the educational experiences of their students. We seek to create a worldwide link in which we:

• Provide information about university activities and services for parents
• Assist parents in solving problems which they or their students encounter at Ohio State
• Promote parent participation in campus activities and use of the campus facilities
• Provide opportunities for parents to socialize with one another
• The information in our web site will help you learn about the Parent Association and what we have to offer you as very important members of the Ohio State family.
