Parent and Family Relations

Programs & Activities / Parent & Family Weekend

The Ohio State campus is a student’s home away from home, and each year we invite family members to make it theirs as part of Parent & Family Weekend.  Share the Ohio State experience as you spend time connecting with your student, interacting with faculty and staff, and experiencing what makes being a Buckeye so special.
Parent & Family Weekend offers many specially-planned events and activities including receptions, campus tours, faculty presentations, a tailgate party and much more.
The weekend provides a snapshot into the life of your Ohio State student through academic lectures, information sessions on campus resources, and even some pre-game Buckeye football spirit (please note, this is an AWAY football game).  We also feature special meal options such as the Generations of Buckeyes Legacy Reception to honor current students and their parents and/or grandparents who are Ohio State alumni and Distant Buckeyes, our out of state student and family lunch option.
We hope you can join us and many other families at Parent & Family Weekend, where you can build your Buckeye pride and strengthen your connection to the University and your student. We look forward to seeing you at Parent & Family Weekend!
Parent and Family Weekend 2016 will be hosted October 21-23, 2016.
