Lynne Deshler oversees the Parents Advancement Council which is comprised of parents interested in staying engaged and involved in their student’s education at Ohio State. The Parents Advancement Council provides parents the opportunity to engage through communications, specialized programming, volunteerism and leadership fundraising. Prior to working in the Office of Advancement, Lynne worked in the Grateful Patient Program and Leadership Annual Giving for the Medical Center and James Cancer Hospital at Ohio State.

Lynne is a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business. Although not a graduate of Ohio State, Lynne has adopted the Buckeyes and is part of a Buckeye-loving family that includes her husband Jon (BA ’89) and their children Abigail, Jonathan and Bridget. Lynne and her family live in Upper Arlington and enjoy attending OSU football games every fall.
