Legacy Dinner

Celebrate your family's rich Ohio State tradition. This special event recognizes the families who have multiple generations of Buckeyes. Families and students will take part in a pinning ceremony, where participants will receive a special commemorative Buckeye pin.

Please note that this event is intended for students with family members that have also attended and are graduates of The Ohio State University. A legacy member includes, but is not limited to, a sibling, parent or grandparent.

The Legacy Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 beginning at 7 p.m. ET (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) in the Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom, located on the 2nd floor of the Ohio Union. Please note that this event is NOT included as part of Sibs, Kids and Family Day. Registration for Sibs, Kids and Family Day is NOT required to attend the Legacy Dinner event.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is permitted to attend?

All attending families must have at least one currently enrolled Ohio State student AND one family member (e.g. a sibling, parent or grandparent) that is a graduate of The Ohio State University. Additional guests are also invited as long as one current student and one Ohio State graduate is attending.

What is the cost to register?

Everyone that plans to attend must be registered. Guests (including alumni) are $30 to register, while students are FREE.
