Buckeye Family Tailgate

Ohio State views student success as a true partnership between the university, students and their families. With a student at Ohio State, parents, families and supports are members of our Buckeye Family. We invite our families to campus to experience game day on campus during our Buckeye Family Tailgate. As part of the game day experience, families will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the football game and enjoy an outdoor tailgate before kickoff.

Buckeye Family Tailgate 2026 will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 prior to the home football game versus the University of Maryland. Additional information will be shared this summer via the Buckeye Family Connection and on this page as it is confirmed.

Please note: Registration for the Buckeye Family Tailgate does not include tickets to the football game.
