Sibs, Kids and Family Day 2024 Schedule

Below you will find a list of confirmed events for Sibs, Kids and Family Day 2024, held on Saturday, March 23. Some of the boxes will allow you to click them for more information about that particular event.

Sibs, Kids and Family Day 2024

Ohio Union

When you arrive on campus, stop by the Ohio Union to pick up your Sibs, Kids and Family Day wristbands. Registration and check-in only takes a few minutes to complete.

High School Bands

All are welcome to see performances from 13 high school big bands. The performances, concluding with the Ohio State Jazz Ensemble, are free and open to the public.

Orton Geological Museum

The Orton Geological Museum is located in Orton Hall on the South Oval. Part of the School of Earth Sciences, the Museum plays a key role in research, teaching and outreach.

RPAC Cube Clash

Families are invited to watch some of the fastest Rubik's Cube solvers from the Midwest. Additionally, if you think you can Cube with the best, click this box to learn how to participate!

RPAC

Siblings, parents and families gain free admission to the RPAC on Saturday with their Sibs, Kids and Family Day wristbands.

Feed the Kids Service Project 2

Parents and families are invited to give back to the Columbus community by packing snack bags for our community partner Feed the Kids Columbus. All materials and supplies are provided.

Pirate Party

Community Ambassadors will be getting crafty and sharing our pirate treasure, or booty, as us pirates call it. We will be creating some pirate themed art projects from our treasure chest, enjoy some refreshing root beer floats, and parlay!

Connect 4 Inflatable

Enjoy inflatable games and corn hole just outside of the Ohio Union!

Women's Basketball

Watch the men's and women's basketball tournaments at Woody's Tavern inside the Ohio Union.

Planetarium

Enjoy a half hour in the Arne Slettebak Planetarium. Shows are first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive prior to the scheduled start time.

Orton Hall

Ohio Staters, Inc. will be making Buckeye necklaces in Orton Hall. Coloring pages, Buckeye history and bell tower tours will be available too!

Maudene's Berry Patch ice cream

Learn how students in Ohio State's Food Science and Technology program create delicious ice cream in a state-of-the-art on-campus production facility - and try it for yourself! Sessions are first-come, first-served (max 60 per session).

Esports Arena

Explore the world of gaming at the Ohio State Esports Arena! One of the largest facilities of its kind, the Esports Arena offers 90 gaming computers, two Virtual Reality stations, a broadcast room and more.

Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum sign

The Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum houses the world’s largest collection of materials related to cartoons and comics, including original art, books, magazines and more. Click to see a list of current exhibits!

Chemistry Demo Poster 2024

Join Ohio State’s Chemistry Demonstration Lab for an action-packed event and see how science can be fun and exciting. People of all ages are welcome to join us for an hour-long show full of fire, liquid nitrogen, and an explosion or two.

Ohio Stadium

Enjoy a self-guided tour of the historic Ohio Stadium. The tour includes access to the field and takes approximately one hour to complete.

Ice Skating Event Image

Enjoy an afternoon on the ice with your family! Ice skating is free with your Sibs, Kids and Family Day registration.

Group Fitness Class

Come dance with us during Sibs, Kids and Family Day! This class is a high-energy, dance-inspired workout fusing traditional Latin rhythms with hip hop. Class features simple, yet incredibly fun routines!

U.S. Bank Conference Theater

Join us for a game show in the U.S. Bank Conference Theater. Winners will receive a prize!

Wonka

Experience a free movie inside the U.S. Bank Conference Theater! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. (runtime is 1 hour, 56 minutes).

High School Bands

The Ohio State Jazz Ensemble and headliner artist Dan Wilson perform as part of the 47th Annual Ohio State Jazz Festival. Free and open to the public.

Join us for an evening of fun and exploration! Three guests per BuckID (does not apply to grad/prof students with families). Bussing to COSI available at Ohio Union turnaround and Archer House during the event.
